Emergencies are rare, but always a consideration in adventure travel. Trek Guatemala prepares for emergency scenarios with bilingual guides trained in first aid, a field first aid kit carried by trip leaders, larger first aid kits at all base camps, and constant communications via long-range walkie-talkies.
